Georgia CTI Hosts Successful Emerging Leaders Days in Covington, Georgia

September 30, 2024 – Over 300 students from 46 schools across Georgia gathered for three unforgettable days at the FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington on September 10, 11, and 12, as part of Georgia CTI’s annual Emerging Leaders Days. The event focused on teamwork, stepping out of comfort zones, and helping one another achieve greater success together.

Throughout the three days, students were engaged in exciting and purposeful activities designed to push their limits and promote personal growth. The day began with team-building exercises that paired students from different schools, encouraging new friendships and collaboration. The highlight of the event was the Mud Course, where students worked together to tackle tough obstacles like The Wall. The powerful takeaway from this challenge was the importance of teamwork—by helping each other, they proved that they can overcome obstacles and achieve more when united.

With students cheering each other on, many pushed through exhaustion and embraced the fun, energetic atmosphere. The day wrapped up with a memorable slip-and-slide down a long hill, a perfect end to a productive day filled with laughter, dancing, and, of course, great food!
