FCCLA/CTI Fall Rally Day - Learning and Opportunity at the Georgia National Fair

October 9, 2024 | Perry, Georgia- On October 9th, 2024, the FCCLA/CTI Fall Rally took place at the Georgia National Fair, a day dedicated to learning and growth for FCCLA and CTI students. Each of Georgia’s nine CTSOs—CTI, FCCLA, FFA, FBLA, DECA, TSA, HOSA, Georgia FIRST Robotics, and SkillsUSA—have their own designated Rally Days, giving students a chance to visit the fair, develop networking and employability skills, and explore careers in agriculture. FCCLA led the opening ceremonies for the event, with CTI’s Anastacia Vargas from Wayne County proudly leading the Pledge of Allegiance before an enthusiastic crowd of students and educators.

The Fall Rally provides students across Georgia CTSOs the chance to explore the diverse world of agriculture, one of Georgia’s most vital industries, and to gain a deeper understanding of the career pathways available through these organizations. CTI’s mission is to help students find and join national CTSOs, equipping them with the guidance and support needed to succeed in their chosen career fields.

This year, as part of the 35th Georgia National Fair, students not only experienced their CTSO’s Rally Day but also enjoyed livestock shows, the award-winning Stories of Agriculture display, and Georgia Grown exhibits, offering a rich, firsthand look at agriculture beyond the classroom.

We invite everyone to join us for future CTSO Days at the Georgia National Fair—a day of exploration, networking, and future career planning for all!
