Georgia National Fair CTI Competitions - Showcasing Student Creativity and Voice
October 9, 2024 | Perry, Georgia- Georgia CTI students took the stage at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, Georgia, proudly competing in this year’s Pin, Banner, and T-shirt Design competitions. These contests highlight the students' creativity, teamwork, and design skills, creating memorable pieces representing Georgia CTI’s theme of the year, Find Your Path.
In addition to the design competitions, students took part in a compelling Speech Competition where eight participants presented speeches on this year’s theme: “How CTI is Helping Me Find My Path.” The students bravely stood in front of an audience of peers, teachers, and judges, sharing how CTI is shaping their futures. Lily, from Woodstock High School and the second-place winner of the Speech Competition, said, "Because of CTI, I have learned to advocate for myself—it is a feeling of empowerment and taking control of my future."
We extend a special thank you to the Georgia National Fair for facilitating these competitions and providing gifts and awards, making this a memorable experience for our students. This event supports the development of essential employability skills such as critical thinking, time management, creativity, adaptability, and communication. Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who helped make this day possible, including the dedicated coordinators, our esteemed judges, the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia CTAE, and Georgia National Fair for their invaluable support.
