Georgia CTI Students Connect, Compete and Lead at FCCLA/CTI Fall Rally

Georgia CTI Theme Speech Competition winners at the 2026 FCCLA/CTI Fall Rally

The 2026 FCCLA/CTI Fall Rally, held October 14 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds, brought together students from schools across Georgia for a day of creativity, competition and leadership. The event celebrated Career, Technical and Agricultural Education while giving students opportunities to represent their schools, demonstrate their talents and connect with other student leaders.

FCCLA and Georgia CTI state officers worked together to lead an energetic morning rally. Georgia CTI chapters proudly represented their schools during the Parade of Chapters, filling the arena with school spirit and celebrating CTI programs from communities throughout the state.

Georgia CTI State Vice President Darrion Bell of Global Impact Academy led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance, helping set the tone for a day centered on leadership, connection and collaboration.

Throughout the day, students viewed competitive-event displays featuring work from Georgia’s Career and Technical Student Organizations. Georgia CTI students showcased their creativity through the Georgia CTI Pin Design, State Leadership Conference Banner Design and T-Shirt Design competitions.

During the Theme Speech Competition, Georgia CTI students presented prepared speeches inspired by the 2026–27 theme, “Connect to Ignite.” Speaking before a live audience in a busy fair environment required courage, preparation and focus. Each competitor stepped forward to share how meaningful connections can ignite confidence, leadership, opportunity and positive change.

Georgia CTI congratulates every student who entered a competition, represented their chapter and challenged themselves to share their talents. We also thank the advisers, teachers, paraprofessionals, volunteers and bus drivers whose support made this experience possible.

A special thank-you goes to Cherie Miller for coordinating the Georgia CTI competitions and to the judges who generously shared their time, expertise and encouragement with our students.

Georgia CTI is also grateful to FCCLA, the Georgia Department of Education and Georgia’s Career and Technical Student Organizations for their continued partnership in creating experiences that help students become confident leaders prepared for life and work.
